SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA 鈥� Get ready to dig into spring gardening with 91看片网 College鈥檚 8th Annual Plant Sale from Apr. 11-14. The community is invited to shop a selection of student-grown plants, all cultivated with care by the 91看片网 College Agriculture Plant Science program. start on Apr. 2 and will be accepted through Apr. 9.
The students in 91看片网鈥檚 Plant Propagation and Production class have worked diligently to seed and transplant a diverse selection of plants suited for San Luis Obispo County鈥檚 unique growing conditions. Choose from an array of tomatoes, peppers (hot and sweet), cucumbers, zucchini, squash, eggplants, pumpkins, melons, and an assortment of culinary herbs like basil, chives, oregano, parsley, sage, and thyme.
鈥淲e welcome the community to purchase these plants and support a program dedicated to developing future farmers and agriculture leaders,鈥� said Plant Science Instructor Seth Abugho. 鈥淕ardening, like food, brings people together in a shared purpose.鈥�
